xPug (2021-2025):

Welcome to xPug, a virtual pet simulator game currently in development
for PC & mobile! Play minigames with your pet to earn in-game currency

Project Article / Interview:

Due to the cryptocurrency aspect of the app, this project was featured in a blog
post regarding up-and-coming projects on the XRP Ledger. My project was one
of the first interviewed by onXRP, a crypto exchange managing millions of dollars
in tokenized assets. You can read it here.

Blockchain Component:

This project has been in development since 2021 and originally started as a
game involving players being rewarded with cryptocurrency + NFTs for taking
care of their pet.

Social Media Campaign:

At the project's inception there was an "airdrop" to XRP wallet owners who set up
a trustline for my "xPug" token (which is a token built on the XRP Ledger). But in
order to be sent the tokens I made a requirement they had to draw a picture of a
hat they wanted added to the game.

I received over 3000 responses and it took weeks of work + help from a friend to
sort through all of them. My favorites are posted below (top 3 were modeled).
